£933,000 for race discrimination

A former NHS manager has been granted a compensation sum of nearly £1 million after an employment tribunal ruled he had been a victim of race discrimination. He took legal action against the NHS Foundation Trust after he was suspended then left his role. He was subjected to bullying and harassment by the deputy chief executive and the tribunal decided he was entitled to a settlement of just over £933,000.
