£350,000 in compensation for mesothelioma

A man who was diagnosed with mesothelioma has received £350,000 in compensation. He was exposed to asbestos in a number of different positions from when he left school in the 1960’s up to and including the early 1980’s. He initially served as an apprentice heating and ventilation engineer and later went on to work with a heating firm. Although he increased in seniority throughout his jobs, he continued to be exposed to asbestos going in and out of boiler houses and was constantly working around asbestos lagging.
