In a recent House of Commons debate on health and safety regulation, the Minister of State, Department for Work and Pensions, Chris Grayling said that Britain has the best record in Europe for the prevention of death and serious injury in the workplace. He said the country should be proud of that, and said the Coalition will seek to retain it under the Government.
