£110,000 in damages for shoulder injury

A health worker whose career was ended after she permanently injured her shoulder at work has received £110,000 in damages in an out of court settlement. She had been working at a residential care home for elderly people with dementia when the incident occurred. Whilst she was helping one resident transfer from her wheelchair to the toilet, she injured her right shoulder.
