Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and Equal Pay Act 1970

Where a female employee was complaining of a difference in the exercise of a discretion conferred by a standard contract, rather than a difference in contract terms, her claim had to be made under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 rather than the Equal Pay Act 1970.
