£140,000 compensation for mesothelioma

A man diagnosed with mesothelioma has received £140,000 compensation from his former employer’s insurers. He was exposed to asbestos whilst working as an electrician on government buildings maintenance contracts. During his time he was never warned about the dangers of asbestos nor provided with any protection. The insurers settled the claim out of court.
