Clyde & Co and Barlow Lyde & Gilbert merge

Clyde & Co and Barlow Lyde & Gilbert have merged, with the new firm known as Clyde & Co. It will have 270 partners, 1,300 lawyers and fee earners and 2,350 total staff operating from 27 offices worldwide. Both firms have a strong focus on insurance. The firm will operate in Europe (Belgrade, Guildford, London, Manchester, Moscow, Nantes, Oxford, Paris, Piraeus, St Petersburg), the Americas (Caracas, Montreal, New Jersey, New York, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Toronto), The Middle East/Africa (Abu Dhabi, Dar es Salaam, Doha, Dubai, Riyadh) and Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mumbai, New Delhi).
