£265,000 compensation for RTA injuries

A van driver who was seriously injured in a head-on collision has received £265,000 compensation in an out of court settlement. He suffered massive chest injuries when a car driving on the wrong side of the road collided with his van. The driver of the car was killed in the incident, and the van driver also suffered multiple fractures to his ribs, left forearm and wrist, as well as nerve damage to the area around his shoulder and neck. The Motor Insurer’s Bureau (MIB) initially denied liability for his injuries.
