£1.3 million out of court settlement for spinal cord injury

A woman who sustained a spinal cord injury when she was knocked down by a motorbike has received £1.3 million in an out of court settlement. She was crossing the road as she made her way to work when she was hit by the speeding motorcycle. She suffered a catalogue of injuries, the most serious being spinal cord damage resulting in incomplete tetraplegia and unstable spinal fractures which have permanently impaired her movement and her ability to function in many aspects of her daily life.
