A report entitled “Global Prevention of Environmental and Occupational Cancer,” in the journal “Environmental Health Perspectives” has detailed the global response to the disease. Cancer has become the second leading cause of death worldwide and toxic exposures in the environment, including workplace exposures, are responsible for a substantial percentage of all cancers.
