Builder receives £90,000 in compensation for fall

A builder who injured his back in a fall has received £90,000 in compensation in a settlement. As he was assisting a colleague with putting up some guttering, the scaffolding that he was standing on moved because it had not be affixed correctly. He fell and suffered a back injury which resulted in him losing his job as he could not maintain the commitments of manual labour at the construction firm.
