£22,000 damages against individual for unfair dismissal

A woman who was unfairly dismissed has been awarded about £22,000 in compensation. She was employed by a local estate agency firm. She became pregnant and confirmed this to the director of the firm. She was immediately told that she was being made redundant. She had not previously been told of any possible redundancy and indeed had recently been promoted and praised for her work.
