Damages awarded to cyclists

A man who was injured when his bike fell apart due to a defect as he rode it, has received a settlement of £7,200. He suffered a fractured collarbone as a result of the cycling accident. Expert evidence confirmed that the metal used for the bike frame was of inadequate quality. The bike company admitted liability.
