HDI-Gerling appoints liability underwriting director for UK/Ireland

HDI-Gerling has appointed Mark Appleton to the position of liability underwriting director for the UK and Ireland. He joins from RSA where he was European casualty director. Previously he held senior positions at Chubb and CNA and has over 20 years liability underwriting experience specializing in complex risk-managed business.
