£100,000 in compensation for bite victim
A woman who was scarred for life after being bitten by an asylum seeker while working at the immigration department of Gatwick
Airport, has received over £100,000 in compensation. She had to undergo three separate rounds of surgery after the incident.
She was bitten when she was part of a team detaining an asylum seeker who was resisting and was also later found to be HIV
