Law Society responds to the government consultation

The Law Society has responded to the government consultation on civil litigation funding by outlining how significant savings can be made across the justice system so government cuts to legal aid can be avoided. “We believe the most vulnerable members of society will suffer reduced access to justice if the government goes ahead with its counter-productive proposals for legal aid reform,” the Law Society said.
