£60,000 in compensation for cyclist

A cyclist has received £60,000 in compensation in an out-of-court settlement after being injured in an accident. He was cycling along a small road when he was attacked by a dog that had been let loose on the road by its owner. The man suffered a fractured shoulder and a head injury as a result of the accident. The head injury meant his chance of developing epilepsy was significantly increased.
