£40m litigation fund closes

Litigation funding adviser Calunius Capital has announced the closing of the Calunius Litigation Risk Fund LP, a £40m Guernsey-based private fund that will invest in the costs of large-scale commercial litigation and arbitration. The company said investments from the Calunius Fund are now available for claimants in commercial litigation and arbitration and the Calunius Fund has already approved three cases for investment, and a further nine cases are in advanced preparation.
