Costs of occupational asthma in the UK

New research in the journal Thorax has suggested the financial impact of asthma brought on by working conditions in the UK could be up to £135mn a year. The study, ‘Costs of occupational asthma in the UK’, was carried out by researchers from the Institute of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, School of Health and Population Sciences, University of Birmingham.
