Financial Services Act 2010

One of the last legislative measures of the outgoing labour administration before the general election on 6 May 2010 was to bring forward the Financial Services Act 2010.[1] The Government had introduced the Financial Services Bill on 19 November 2009[2] which was enacted on 8 April 2010 although a number of key provisions had to be dropped to allow passage before the general election.[3]
