ABI tracing scheme “not fit for purpose”

The ABI tracing scheme “has failed and is not fit for purpose,” according to law firm John Pickering and Partners. The law firm has issued a number of recent examples of where the ABI tracing scheme has failed - in some cases initially failing to trace a company’s employers’ liability insurer after one application, and then, when a new application was made, discovering an insurer after all.
