The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has said that a consent decree, resolving a class lawsuit for $6.2mn
and significant remedial relief against Sears, Roebuck and Co. under the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA), represents
the largest ADA settlement in a single lawsuit in EEOC history.
