Which? calls for mandatory reporting scheme for nano materials

The consumer association Which? has called for a mandatory reporting scheme for the use of nano materials. Which? wants the Government to introduce a mandatory reporting scheme, requiring companies to report their use of manufactured nano materials. It also wants to see research into current and future applications of nano materials, as well as clarity across all food legislation, to ensure that materials produced using nanotechnology are subject to mandatory independent pre-market assessment and approval.
