FSA softens approach to complaints data

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has modified its proposals to name and shame financial services firms with the worst complaints records following concerns raised during the response period. Under new proposals, the regulator will require certain firms to publish their own complaints data and this data will be consolidated by the FSA every six months to publish comparative tables of both the worst offenders and separate figures showing comparable data for other firms.
