Landmark ruling on disclosure of depression

A borough council has lost its case in which it sought to sue a former employee for £1m for not disclosing her past experience of depression. Mental health charity Mind said the landmark ruling serves as an important reminder to employers about the importance of providing adequate support to people with mental health problems in the workplace.
