Road traffic crash damages

A man has received £70,000 in compensation after he was involved in a road traffic crash. He was struck by a car during the course of his employment. He had been in the UK some six months or so prior to the crash and was intending to remain in the UK to live and work. As a result of the collision, he sustained a serious hip injury. After originally being treated in the UK, he returned to Poland where he underwent various therapies. The injury meant he was unable to work for a significant period of time and that he had to be cared for by others.
