£290,000 compensation for mesothelioma
The widow of an electrician has received £290,000 compensation in an out of court settlement after her husband died from mesothelioma.
He was exposed to asbestos regularly during his work as an electrician for a power company. He was not warned about the dangers
of asbestos until 1983 and even then was not provided with protective equipment.
