Road traffic accident compensation

A man has received £20,000 compensation after suffering physical and psychological injuries in a road traffic accident. He was a front seat passenger when the driver of the vehicle he was travelling in lost control on the M1 motorway and collided with a lorry. He sustained four fractures of the lumbar spine, skin abrasions together with psychological trauma. The driver’s insurers admitted liability at the outset and he received an additional £2,700 for his rehabilitation treatment on top of his compensation.
