Damages for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

A man has received £18,000 in damages after being diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS), a disorder which can be caused by prolonged use of hand-held vibrating tools. He was exposed to the disorder after using various power tools when working for his employer during the 1980s. His employer admitted liability and settled the claim out of court.
