Mesothelioma widow gets £299,860

A widow has been awarded £299,860 following her husband’s death from mesothelioma. During his employment he was exposed to asbestos when he removed lagging from pipe work to carry out maintenance and repair work. Later he was involved in the installation of a new assembly line which required the removal of old pipe work which was lagged with asbestos.
