£275,000 in compensation for attacked teacher

A teacher who was attacked by a pupil has received £275,000 in compensation after his school failed to warn him about the dangers. He was awarded the damages by the courts after he was attacked by a 12-year-old student in a school corridor. He took ill health retirement following the incident, which left him with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
