£155,194 for mesothelioma victim

The family of a retired NHS electrician has been awarded £155,194 following his death from mesothelioma. During the course of his employment he was exposed to asbestos on a daily basis as he worked in the electrical and steam plant rooms which contained sealed and unsealed asbestos materials used to lag the pipes and boilers. He was also involved in the mixing of fresh asbestos lagging to apply to the boilers.
