Small claims personal injury cases “a thing of the past”

Analysis of the latest version of the JSB Guidelines (ninth edition) suggests that ‘small claims’ personal injury cases are becoming a thing of the past, according to law firm Browne Jacobson. The guidelines, which are used by courts and legal practitioners to assess the damages in personal injury cases, show that as compensation rises in line with inflation, the small claims track is fast becoming obsolete, said the law firm.
