Hit and run victim compensated

An elderly man has received £15,000 compensation after he was injured in a hit and run. He was walking his dog in the local park and, as he is unable to walk far due to arthritis, had decided to sit on the tailgate of his car with his dog off its lead. The defendant, an elderly woman, approached and made offensive remarks regarding his dog being off the lead.
