£100,000 in compensation for mesothelioma death

More than £100,000 in compensation has been paid to the widow of a former painter who died from mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos. He was exposed to asbestos for a number of years in the early 1970s when he was employed as a painter and decorator for the Electricity Board.
