Occupational dermatitis damages

A man working as a plater has been awarded substantial compensation after he developed occupational dermatitis which forced him to give up his job. During the course of his daily work in the plating department he had been exposed to chromates which are classified as irritants and skin sensitisers under the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2002.
