Excessive noise injury award
A woman who was exposed to excessive noise while working as a weaver from 1959-1998 has received more than £7,000. She was
exposed to noise being made by weaving looms in the factory. She was only given adequate protective equipment in 1995. Her
claim was settled before the issue of court proceedings. She suffers from hearing loss and tinnitus.
