Compensation of £370,000 for head injuries

A man working as an electrician who sustained serious head injuries and lost the sight in an eye in an explosion at a factory has been awarded £370,000. He was due to carry out electrical modifications to switchboards at the factory when the explosion occurred. He was standing outside the locked double doors to the switch room when an explosion occurred. The man has no recollection of what happened until he woke up in hospital five weeks later.
