Government takes its time over pleural plaques

The government certainly isn’t being rushed into making a decision over pleural plaques. The original Lords ruling at the heart of the matter was made in October 2007. The government consultation ended in October 2008 but as yet (at the time of going to press) there has been no response from the Government, or any real indication of its intentions. The debates, parliamentary questions and Early Day Motions continue however.
