EU Environmental Liability Directive
The Environmental Damage (Prevention and Remediation) Regulations 2009, which bring into force the EU Directive on Environmental
Liability, have been published by the UK government and were laid before Parliament on February 2, 2009. The Regulations will
come into force in England on March 1, 2009.
