Calls for NI to follow Scotland on pleural plaques

THE Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) has called on the Northern Ireland Executive to take action to ensure all pleural plaques victims receive compensation. The plea follows the high profile House of Lords decision on pleural plaques and the decision to bring in legislation to overturn the judgment which is currently going through the Scottish parliament. The Northern Ireland Executive has launched its own consultation.
