Vibration white finger damages

A panel beater has accepted £12,000 in damages against his former employer after being diagnosed with vibration white finger. He had used air sanders, grinders and other powered tools for substantial periods of time over his 13-year employment. His employer never warned him of the dangers. He now finds it difficult to carry out simple everyday activities such as tying his shoe laces and carrying out DIY.
