Trip on way to Indian restaurant

A man has received a £62,500 out of court settlement as a result of a tripping accident whilst visiting his local Indian takeaway. The man tripped and fell due to the presence of a low unmarked and unlit wall. He successfully pursued a claim against the private owners of the restaurant for the accident which occurred in their car park. He sustained a fractured left knee which required surgical intervention and insertion of metal work.
