Severe whiplash injuries award

A woman working at high street bank who was knocked over by a car as she walked home from work has been awarded £19,000 for the injuries she sustained in the accident. She was crossing a well lit road and had reached the traffic island in the middle of the road when a Porsche struck her left leg, spinning her around and causing severe whiplash injuries. She sustained serious injuries to her left shoulder and nerve damage to her face. Her left shoulder blade subsequently wasted away leaving her with restricted movement in her arm.
