Ladder fall fractures leg

A man working as a labourer has been awarded £35,000 when he fractured his leg in a fall from a ladder. He was in the process of cleaning and painting a machine and had placed an extendable ladder against the machine and was three metres from the floor and was cleaning the machine when he felt the ladder move and it fell down the side of the machine. As a result of his injury he is only able to carry out light duties at work.
