£50,000 for fall at work

A man who worked as a sawyer has been awarded £50,000 following a fall at work in which he fractured his leg. As part of his job he was required to manually rotate a heavy bar barrow. The bar barrow had a coupling point on one side only, but it was on the wrong side and as a result the man had to push the bar barrow. He was pushing the bar barrow and slipped on an Allen set screw on the floor.
