£50,000 for fall at work
A man who worked as a sawyer has been awarded £50,000 following a fall at work in which he fractured his leg. As part of his
job he was required to manually rotate a heavy bar barrow. The bar barrow had a coupling point on one side only, but it was
on the wrong side and as a result the man had to push the bar barrow. He was pushing the bar barrow and slipped on an Allen
set screw on the floor.
