Disability discrimination award

A catering assistant has won her claim of disability discrimination, unlawful deduction from wages and holiday pay. She was dismissed without notice by a letter delivered to her house by taxi late one evening. She is registered disabled and suffers from severe back pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. An employment tribunal held that she suffered unlawful disability discrimination and was entitled to both unpaid wages and holiday pay.
