TANK TRAINING LAUNCH

Training software provider Videotel has updated its Over and Under Pressurisation of Tanks title with new graphic animation sequences to illustrate the complexities of tank pressure management. Following the introduction of version 2 of the Oil Companies International Maritime Forum (OCIMF) Tanker Management and Self Assessment (TMSA) initiative in July this year, Videotel has been expanding and updating its range of training titles. Earlier this autumn Videotel added Tank Cleaning Practice to its range of training titles. The programme describes different types of tank cleaning, from a quick wash between compatible products, to the complex washing procedures required between incompatible products. It also looks at how decisions are made about which type of cleaning process to use.
