International players begin to lose ground in Asia

Prudential Financial Inc, AIG, MetLife and Allianz are looking at ways to protect market share as policy redemptions rise

AIG and other foreign insurers are facing loss of market share in Asia as customers begin to lose confidence in providers affected by the global economic downturn. Companies are particularly concerned about the number of policy redemptions recently, sources in the market told WIR.
