Fall in employees at Health and Safety Executive
Health and safety enforcement in Britain is withering away and Scotland has been hit particularly hard, according to new statistics.
Figures obtained by the University of Stirling’s Occupational and Environmental Health Research Group (OEHRG) show that the
number of people employed by the workplace safety enforcement body the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has dropped by over
11% in just five years.
